The Omaha IMPACT Awards are produced by LaPora Lindsey and Company, LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through omahaimpactawards.com and our event, and how we use it.

Information We Collect

• Nominations: the names, contact information, and workplace of nominators and nominees, along with the stories shared about the nominee.

• Sponsor inquiries: names, company names, and contact information submitted through our sponsor interest form or by email.

• Event tickets: ticket purchases are handled by Eventbrite. Your payment information goes to Eventbrite, not to us, and is covered by Eventbrite’s privacy policy.

• Email updates: your name and email address, if you choose to receive updates.

• Event photos and video: our event is photographed and filmed.

How We Use Your Information

• To review nominations and select finalists and award recipients

• To contact nominees, nominators, sponsors, and guests about the event

• To share honoree stories and event photos on our website, social media, and in event materials

• To send event updates to people who opted in

How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

• With the service providers we use to run the event, such as Google and Eventbrite

• With our selection committee, for reviewing nominations

• With event sponsors, upon request, limited to professional contact information such as your name, title, company, and work email. We never share personal email addresses, phone numbers, or home addresses with sponsors.

If you’d prefer that your professional contact information not be shared with sponsors, email us and we’ll leave you out.

Photos and Stories

By attending the event, you may appear in photos or video we share publicly. If you’d like a photo of yourself removed from our website or social media, email us and we’ll take it down.

Cookies

This website is hosted on Google Sites, which may use cookies to operate the site. We do not use cookies for advertising.

Children

Our website and nomination process are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

You can ask us to update or delete your information, or to stop sending you emails, at any time by emailing us.
